GuardNet Notifier

The mobile half of GuardNet. Your GuardNet system watches the cameras; the Notifier puts what it finds in your pocket — an alert with the actual picture, seconds after it happens, wherever you are.

Part of GuardNet, not a separate product

The Notifier is the companion app to the GuardNet system running on your own computer. It does not watch cameras itself and it needs no configuration — everything about what is detected, where and when is decided on the GuardNet machine. The app's job is one thing, done properly: making sure the right person finds out immediately, and can see what happened.

What it does

Alerts with the picture attached

When your GuardNet system detects something, the phone alerts within seconds. The notification carries the snapshot from the moment of detection, the camera it came from, what was recognised — person, vehicle, fire, smoke, violence, abnormal behaviour — and the exact time. Alerts arrive with high priority and reach you even when the app is closed.

Pairs in seconds

Scan the QR code shown by your GuardNet system, pick a saved photo of it, or simply type the serial number. That is the whole setup. You can pair several GuardNet systems in one app — useful if you are responsible for more than one site — and rename each one so you know at a glance which building an alert came from.

A history you can actually search

Every alert is kept on the phone in a list you can narrow down: by system, by camera, by date range, by time of day, and by the type of detection. Tap any entry to open the full-resolution image, zoom into it, and save it to the phone if you need to hand it to the police, an insurer or a colleague. Delete entries one by one, or clear the whole list.

Quiet when you need it quiet

Each paired system has its own mute switch. Silence the warehouse overnight while the shop stays active — without touching a single setting on the GuardNet machine, and without losing anything: the events still land in your history.

What your business gets out of it

  • Nobody has to be on site. The value of a detection is lost if it waits until morning. The owner, the manager or the duty officer finds out immediately — at home, on the road, on another site.
  • You decide from a picture, not a guess. The snapshot is in the alert itself. You can tell a delivery driver from an intruder before you call anyone out, which is the difference between a sensible response and an expensive false call-out.
  • One person can cover several sites. Pair every GuardNet installation you are responsible for into one app, each clearly named. No monitoring room, no rota of people watching screens.
  • Evidence in your hand. The full-resolution image saves straight to the phone, complete with the time, camera and detection type — ready for a police report, an insurance claim or an internal review, without anyone having to dig through recordings.
  • Nothing extra to buy. The app is free and there is no subscription attached to it. It works with the GuardNet system you already run.
  • It speaks your team's language. Full English and Bulgarian interface, including the text of the notifications themselves, with light and dark themes.

Getting started

Install the app from Google Play, open the GuardNet system on your computer and display its QR code, then scan it with the phone. The app confirms with a short vibration and starts receiving alerts straight away. Add as many phones as you like — each member of staff who should be informed simply scans the same code.

Requirements

Android phone or tablet with an internet connection.
A running GuardNet system on your Windows or Linux machine, with its cameras configured.
Camera permission — used only to scan the pairing QR code; you can also type the serial number instead.
